Manager / Assistant Manager-Procurement & Development

Job Description / Responsibility
• Perform sourcing & procurement activities for materials, engineering and facilities services, and capital expenditure.
• Ensure preparation of engineering drawing to install the machinery in the floor.
• Support all business units in regard to Procurement, Development, Administration in an efficient and cost effective way
• Plan, lead, organize and control Supply Chain team to achieve organizational objectives.
• Ensure development & implementation of organizational procurement / purchase policy.
• Forecast financial requirements for procurement (short and long term).
• Conduct vendor evaluation and develop new vendor as per company policy
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor / Master degree in any discipline.
Experience Requirements
• 6 to 7 years
Additional Job Requirements
• The incumbents should have 6 to 7 years experience in a large Knit Composite Garments industry.
• Willingness to visit factories frequently as and when required.
• Able to work under pressure and for long time.
• The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self driven & have good personality with leadership skill.
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
• Purchase/Procurement
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
• Garments (Woven/Apparel/Knitting), Textile (Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing/Finishing)
